I'm in the market for a used snap on box. And I saw this one on craigslist. They guy doesn't know what model number it is, but he said it 48 inches wide and he got it in the early 90's. He's looking for a best offer. What is one like this worth? I know it's hard without more pics, but just a general price of what one is worth in good condition. I just wanted to know a roundabout price to start the negotiations.

I have a very similar Snap On box set I bought in the early 1970s; possibly a little wider as there is a separate little door for the small drawers on the right side. There is a center section I did not get. It has been fine all all these years; however I wonder if Snap On boxes are really any better than a lot of others. I saw some pretty nice, brand new, boxes at Costco today; not Snap On but pretty nice. The Snap On name is fine but is it really worth the extra $$$?

KR637, 657 bottom, KR274 side box, with 3 drawers. If in good, and I mean good condition I could see up to $1K for the setup, but condition is everything. The entire setup is ~48" wide x 18" deep, main box is 33" wide. All large drawers are ball bearing, smaller ones are friction slide.

Your Snap-on boxes are about 40 years old and you are wondering if they are worth the money???
