It is slightly used, owned for about a year. I saw the website and the $400 price tag but what would be the going rate for a used one of this caliber?

Not that much. Torque wrenches don't seem to have much resale value. By the time you get it calibrated and pay shipping both ways its over $100.00. I would search completed auctions on ebay for a good guess. Maybe if you have an nist cert of recent calibration you can get more. Don't think it would interest me unless it was like 100 bucks. Also no lifetime warranty on torque devises I don't think and you also have to be the original owner for warranty service.

Thanks guys, I was also thinking the $100 mark would be enough to make a deal.

I would say if you can get it for 200 you've got a good deal. Unless you have some regulatory issue or work rule that requires certified calibration, what are the chances it is off enough to really make a difference?

Ohh your the buyer, got it. Jump on it for a 100. That's a flex head model so it will bring 200 on the bay.

Lol, the seller is firm at $170. But I'm trying to have em come down since it hasn't been calibrated since purchased.

Newer ones have 80T ratchet heads and different battery caps if that helps, this one is 36T. But, $170 is still a very fair deal on that.
