Hey Guys,

The other day I received something by a company that didn't know what it was. It was found in there basement sitting next to other auction items. They were going to throw it away, but asked me if I wanted it.

Now I know Mickey Mantle stuff goes for big money but has anyone seen something like this? I found similar items on ebay for $400-$600.

I asked on company about getting it certified. They said honestly put it on ebay since the time you get someone to certify it, you will make nothing. They told me to compare it to other ebay items and see what they go for.

Do your best to examine other verified real autographs to determine if you should get it authenticated. PSA charges $100 for mantle.

There you go, get the signature verified for free and Rick will overpay for it.

Then in reality you stand in line for an hour for a guy who you've never seen on tv to say he's not interested.

99% sure that's a fake.

More then likely. Over half of the Mickey Mantle autographs in circulation are fake. Look up Operation Bullpen. Unless it is authenticated by a legit authentication service like PSA or JSA its worthless. If it currently has a COA from a random company look that company up and you will likely see they are known for fakes.

Thanks
Jeremy
