How much Romex can be pulled threw 1 inch hole?

I have several new circuits to be installed and I'm using a 1 inch hole in the floor joist. Is it possible within reason to feed 4 runs of Romex? Should I use lube on this pull?

What would be the best fish tape to use for this?

I've never used lube or a fishtape with Romex on new construction.

Four should fit with no problem, anymore than that and you'll get into derating.

the max amout of cables you can run through any size hole using romex is 4 or its considered bundeling per the NEC
