How much should I ask for this ?

My woodstove is up and running great with 2 lengths of chimney so I won't be needing this last 6" x 3' section, it's a Security S-2100 part # 4446C

I only paid $ 275 for the stove including all the pipe, even less when I sell this piece of pipe I don't need, does $ 50 sound about right ?

Note that its Canadian, are you in Canada? Canadian chimneys are made to a different standard, and of course, the brands do not interchange, so you will need to find someone who has that brand/size of chimney and needs another section to get a good draft.

You can spend some time online looking at prices, but I think $50 would be a reasonable, probably somewhat low price.

Looking at the WEBSITE the S-2100 series is indeed Canada only.

Yes, 50$ is reasonable. That section is well over 100$ when bought new.

Thanks for the input, I made a few calls trying to get a ballpark idea of what they cost new and discovered 3 of the dealers listed on the Security website no longer carry the product I've decided to keep it !
