How much would you pay for a GREEN snap on quick cutter?

Title says it all. I am a green tool addict :bounce:! I have been trying to purchase a green Snap on quick cutter for years, but the only ones I have found are way overpriced. One just popped up on eBay, and now that Snap on has completely discontinued their quick cutter, what is the most one of you fellow green tool addicts would pay for it? Just curious.

I would pay $2 for one; but only if I knew I could sell it to you for $10.
That probably is not very helpful.

Here!
I'll tell you what I wouldn't do-- I wouldn't pay twice as much just for a different color!

One sold for about half of that a few weeks back. I would make up your mind soon before it sells.

Okay so I'm an orange hard handled guy and I also wanted an quick cutter but wasn't willing to pay a stupid price for one. I saved an eBay search for:

(snapon, "snap-on")(hs50, "quick cutter")

and added it to my searches that I check regularly for new listings. A complete set with the pouch and blades would have been ideal but I didn't necessarily care, just wanted the handle. It took being patient for awhile but eventually I scored a complete kit for $29.50 plus a few $$ shipping in October last year. My max would have been $50-60.

I've also used this same method to add several other rare discontinued orange hard handled tools to my collection including SDDP64 #4 Philips, 7ASAA & 5ASAA awls and 4ASHA hook. I paid between $15 and $26 each.

Hope this helps at least give you some hope if you can be patient.

Chris

Thanks for tip! I am in no hurry so I will try your method and see what comes up after a few months
