I am looking to pull the trigger on a Millermatic 211 but am not sure when (or where) the cheapest/best place would be to buy one....It seems like Cyberweld has pretty good deals but do they ever run sales/promotions?

Check all the weld supply houses close to you they will try to be the lowest to get the sale. I use to sell these at the weld supply I worked at if a customer brought a quote from the competition I would try to beat it to get the sale. or throw in a few extra goodies to get the sale most of them have a little room to deal.

They do go on sale but the discount is never huge. Millers are some of the best in the industry and they will sell even at ticket price.

If you watch ebay enough you find find a good deal on a new one some times. About a year ago I picked up a my 252 for 1600 dollars to my door, at the time the best deal on ebay was about 2k. I love the machine by the way.

When I bought my Miller 211, the local price (Sutton-Garten in Indy) matched the cheapest online price I could find online, gave me a break on the cost of a tank, and filled the tank for free.

I was a welding newbie going into this, and have been very happy with the 211. It didn't take me too long to start laying out some really nice looking welds.

I'm now starting to think about buying a TIG machine to let me do more intricate work. The price of the TIG stuff though is making MIG look cheap.

I just picked up a diversion 165 last month. 2 local airgas (only local miller dealers) wouldn't even match their own website price. I ordered from cyberweld.com, free factory direct shipping in around 3 days..

When I purchased my Millermatic 180 I missed a $75 cash back promo from Cyberweld. I pulled the trigger just a bit earlier .... :(

When I got my 211 I went to Airgas with a sale price from a competitor, I got it for $877. That was by far the cheapest I could find.
