How often do you clean your tile floors?

In my old garage I had those cheap Craftsman plastic floor tiles in black and platinum... They showed dirt every time the car was pulled in to park. I had to mop the floor often to get the Texas dust off...

How often do you have to clean your floors? Are there are colors that help hide the dirt? Any kind of dust repelling treatment you can give them, if any?

Not looking forward to mopping the garage floor again when I install my new floor...

You'r best bet would be to get some sort of rubber door flaps that hang down they are fairly cheap and will keep most of That Texas dust out. Then you can use a plastic paint for the floor ( Kwixsand ) this will help the dust blow in to one corner and there you can build something to manage the dust

I clean it once a day before I leave. Most everything is on wheels. The military will do that to a guy ;-). Even before, as a yungun, the boss made us wash the floors down with 'green powder" and squeegee it before shutting down.
That extra 40 minutes makes for getting to work quick when you unlock a door to everything in place and ready to rock.
Too may of my avatars stumble around trying to remember where they left off or where they put something-where that tool is.Left paint in the gun. Excuses excuses. Slobs.
The pawn shops near them have some killer deals !

I sweep at least weekly and wet mop my RD floor once a month with normal in and out traffic. Of course any project work forces daily sweep mop as needed.

We use Hilway direct Neutral cleaner. Ribbed tiles always look the cleanest. We have a huge assortment of colors installed here. Personally the Alloy seems to be the best with Black and white floors being the worst.

On my porcelain, I use and electric weedie blower to blast out sawdust after using my machines. On a nice windy day, start upwind and you can have the 1100 sq ft floor done in 2 minutes. Counters too.

I never mop it because nothing sticks to it.

Sorry I wasn't specific enough! I meant the tire tracks across the tiles from driving in and out... Texas dust is a light colored powder and sticks to the tires and leaves tire marks all across the tile floor... The black tiles showed the worst of it... The platinum not so much until the car had been driven in and out for a full week...
