How old is this? Only markings are the w in the diamond an “s” and “patd”.

Check alloy artifacts website for some more details, but quick search shows 1930s to 1940s or so

Their 30s discount line was Volume, looked like that. It's probably the later discount line, mid 40s to 50s.

Could be earlier. A bit of digging and I have an early williams and a volume set with that ratchet
