I am doing floor tiles of a yet to be determined brand and style. Due to a somewhat uneven floor I am leaning towards a PVC tile.
My Issues currently are that there is minimal to no slope towards te door and no drain. Settlement in the slab over 40+ years has left cracks and a slope that falls towards the foundation side wall. I am having the floor raised via urethane jacking with the hopes of one, filling the numerous hollow voids, and two, correcting the slope to at least stop the flow towards the wall.
I am looking at some vented tiles mainly the swisstrax. I am adding heat in the garage and was curious how fast the floor would dry from snow melt and rain since there would be some standing water on the slab. Even if I use solid pvc some moisture will get under the tiles. I was also looking at the Nordsk pvc tiles that boast the Air Dry channels under the tile however with the tile being solid I am just not sure how effective that will really be.
Tuff Seal tiles are nice but the cost is getting higher than I want to go.
