I have a 3/8" and 1/2" drive I use daily. I really like them. Plenty of torque and they are quiet. I work at CAT and my 1150 1/2" will bust track bolts right out. Tooltopia.com has great prices on them.

Our forktruck tech has used aircats for impacts for several years and swears buy them. I have CPs but I need something with a little more balls and will get an aircat next time.

I have an aircat 3/4 gun. Had it for 3 years and broke the hammer in it. Very little use. Been out for repair for two months. Wont buy one again. Will only buy ir or snap-on air tools.

my 3/8 nitrocat has been my go-to almost since i got it 3 years ago. i'm not a wrench for a living, so not nearly as much use as it might have otherwise. that said, its seen a whole bunch of work, zero problems. plenty of grunt, and sooo much lighter / smaller than any of the traditional 1/2" guns.

The few I have had over the years have not held up, the 1/4 air ratchet would be good for about 9-10 months then go soft have to get it fixed for another 9-10 months, similar with the 1/2 impact. Haven't had the 3/8 but not the best track record from what I have seen but they are inexpensive so they are disposable in my eyes. IR seems to last much longer

Yeah forgot about the 1/4 air ratchet i have. Used that at work for 6months blew the head out and the air motor was weak. Got it rebuilt bought new snappy for work which by the way is awsome and that was 3 years ago. Air cat still works. Have it at home but i dont abuse it like i did at work. Moral of the story is ive had crappy luck with air cat. I have snappy impacts and ir drills and grinders and all of my air tools are 4-6 years old and still going strong and my air cat stuff let me down.
