Appears and actually has are 2 different things. The drain/strainer threads are standard even on now non standard strainers so seeing a pvc threaded tail piece on doesn't confirm a (modern) standard hole.

This is pvc connected to a 1939 strainer. Screenshot_20240209_104016_Gallery.jpg

1/4" isn't a lot but it and the angle of the contour meant a 4.5" od only touched on the outer edge. The original strainer was 5" od.

I said “appears” because the second pic the OP posted is as close as he comes to showing the tailpiece on the sink. I’d lay very long odds that’s an 1-1/2” flanged tailpiece attached to the bottom of that strainer, but who knows, it appears to be leaking so it could be something different 🤷‍♂️

5” flange strainers aren't uncommon, but the ones I’ve used (restaurant eqt) are still 3-1/2” dia body.

They still make those farmhouse sinks.

Look up https://ellai-us.com/products/ellai-ceramic-farm-style-utility-sink-white

It has a video showing how that sink is probably mounted.

The old stubs coming out of the wall may block you from lifting it. You may have to shut the water off and remove them before lifting.

Working on old rusty plumbing on a house that is being sold makes the new farm sink look like a lot less of a headache.

The op has an enamel/cast iron sink. They also still make them.

Can you share the brands / models? I no luck finding any.
Here’s one I stumbled across, it’s at Grainger. If I were having a problem finding something I needed to buy or had specifications I was trying to comply with, I’d have a supply salesman do my “leg work”.
