How should the floor look after degrease + etching?

I went with the Armorpoxy and used a whole gallon of degreaser, scrubbed the floor, then used the supplied acid etch in 3g of hot water, let it sit for about 10mins then pressure washed everything out.

It looks a lot cleaner, but there are still visible areas where you can see oil/fluid drips from vehicles. It doesn't look "oily", but there is obviously a visible area stain.

Is this normal or should there be no indistinguishable marks anywhere?
I am using the primer BTW if that makes any difference. How do I "know" when I am done preparation work?

Also, the instructions don't mention using a neutralizer at all, is this correct?

Heres a photo.

If I wet my finger and rub it into those stained areas, I get no residue on my finger at all.

Safe to apply primer?

I'd say so. We just did our 1800 sqft floor with the Armorpoxy 3 layer system. Clear coat went on last night. I'd say the floor looks good to go.

If you are not in a warm climate and can open the doors while doing it buy a mask. Trust me! LOL

I'm excited to get home and see how the final finish looks.

Nice. Being in AZ its 80F right now so no issues here!

Any tips or advice since you're 3 steps ahead of me? Or is it really as simple as just rolling it on?

I'll primer tomorrow night to be sure all the water has evaporated off the surface since I am in no rush. Last night there was still some water in the corner so I vacuumed it up.

Yes. Make sure it is dry. I taped down some plastic in 3 areas to make sure. I felt I was good to go. Do the primer. Pour it out and roll it. Wait 24 hours and doe the next coat with the fleck. Same way. Pour it on the floor and roll it out. Use the spike shoes to spread the fleck if your using it. The top clear coat. If your adding the anti skid powder ....make sure you puck up a pan from home depot so you can roll the clear. Do not pour out the clear and roll it. The anti skid will sink down and you can't get it rolled quick enough.

Got home tonight and checked it out. I could see exactly where I poured the clear and tried to roll it out. It created some satin like areas.

I just mixed up a little more clear to roll out over those areas to hopefully bring the shine back. We'll see tomorrow.

Any other questions just ask. The fumes are horrible. Just so you know.

Good luck! Let me know how it goes. I am beyond happy that we went with the Armorpoxy. Some decent money into 1800 Sq ft but I feel it is very much worth it.

I didnt get any spiked shoes...so I think I will pour some, roll it out, then spread the flecks, and repeat left to right leaving some room so the rolling won't touch the flecks that are spread on it.

Stains are normal and to be expected as they soak in. As long as water doesn't bead up on the, then you are good to go. Thank you.

Indeed! The primer odor is so caustic you'll die....same with the clear coat. Ironically, the color coat has virtually NO odor.

It took about 3 days for the main coat to turn rock hard. I'm putting the clear coat on tonight.

I want to be sure no possibility of hot tire pull-up...how can I be sure?
I'm assuming maybe not driving or parking on it for 2 weeks, But after that? Should I lay down some carpet or something for when I do finally park?

What's the best advice on this?

This is on the outer limits of time frame, but should be ok. Best to topcoat within 24 hours.
