How soon is too soon?

Putting the pieces together to get a 30x40 built, hopefully before the end of the year.

With the somewhat mild winters here near Houston, how long does green concrete need to cure before I can consider coating the floor?

Still not totally set on which coating Im going with, which of course I expect to have some bearing on application time, hopefully I can get just an all around rough idea.

Most will tell you a month is safe.

General rule of thumb is 30 days, but it can vary WIDELY based on ambient conditions, water usage in the concrete, if there is a moisture barrier, is it exposed to sun, etc. We have seen slabs at 90 days and longer not cured.

Always do the plastic sheet moisture test to get a quick read if it's cured enough to proceed with coating. Contact us at below if need more info on this.

Application temps we like 55 or more, but our SPGX Polyurea can be applied into the 40's, but will take longer to cure. We also offer low temps epoxy kits if needed.
