Hi all.

I am wondering what maximum thickness is recommended for applying durabond 90 between coats?

I have read that too much will crack.

Thank you.

Any taping compound can crack if put on too thick but unless you are trying to build up an outside corner it would be hard to put it on thick enough to crack.

Durabond doesn't shrink much. I've put it on 3/8" thick patching a hole in a plaster wall before.

I have used the 90 min some but anymore I just buy the 45. Working time is still plenty
