Ok Guys, In the next few weeks, I hope, I will be trying to insulate & drywall the inside of my shop. I have no windows, and one 16' garage door.
Will I have any problems with no vents of any kind? I think I am going to go with the vented propane radiant heat tubes for heat. I want the shop to be tight to keep the heat cost down but don't want fall over from any fume buildup either.
Should I install some exhaust fans in the ceiling?

Nothing to add specifically to your topic but I see you are from my area (I live about 20 minutes south of the metro on the 'other' side of the river. I too am considering an Astro building and wondered how you like yours so far? How long did it take them to put up?

So far so good on my building. It's only been up since May of this year.
It only took them 5 days for a 40 x 50 building, had a good crew & good weather. Have pics & movie on the link in my sig.

I would see how is it without the fans first.

If you vent outside you should be OK

Buy a CO detector for safety

Talk about tight

I have hardy board on the outside, tyvek, and OSB board.

On the inside I have 4" walk-in freezer panels rated R38

I have 12" insulation in the ceiling.

I have alot of windows and doors, so we'll get some leakage

I live in Syracuse so you need it as tight as you can get it

I have a Mr. Heater vented radiant tube heater - as long as you RTV the joints of the exhaust pipe, you should not have any leaks.....grab a carbon monoxide alarm just in case -
