How to add pics in reply?

I combined my for sale thread in the classifieds but it would only allow me to upload 7 pics max. No problem, I figured I'd just hit the reply box, add in the text that corresponds to the additional pics and then upload them. But no "manage attachments" box for more pics. What am I missing? Thanks for your help.
