I am looking to build a 10x40 addition to my shop. I had a guy putting a fence in and while he was here I had him drive 4x6 posts into the ground (knowing this addition was coming) I had to cut them to the proper height at the nagging of my wife (she did not like the posts just sticking out of the ground) so any way now it will be a stud wall instead of the post built I was planning.

I figure that I can put a PT 2x10 lagged into the posts then lay a PT 2x10 across the top to form a lower plate then build a 2x6 stud wall on that. I figure I can lag bolt the ledger boards from both sides then screw the top place with 5" screws Does this sound about right??
