Ok, So I welded up a bracket for my mini-split to hang on my exterior wall. I currently have brick on the outside and then a stud wall wrapped in osb. I currently have full access to the stud wall. So I can see the osb and my brickis on the other side.
My question is what is the best way to hang this bracket? I had thought about nailing in a board between the studs up against the osb and then running a bolt throw the bracket and the new nailer and then put a nut on the bolt. My concern is the space between the osb and the brick might put pressure on the bricks. Just want my ac staying on the wall and the bricks not falling off.
