I need to deep clean a drill chuck. I don't see any way to dissassemle it.

My though is to soak it in some cleaner overnight, or on the ultrasonic for an hour.. But how to dry and re lube?

Any experience sharing welcomed.

You should be able to press out the guts from the arbor side and then you can disassemble, clean and relube it. Just pay attention to the how the Jaws come out because it matters.

^^^What he said. They need to be completely dissassembled to be cleaned and lubricated properly.

If it's Jacobs just go to their website for complete instructions.
