We have the shop almost done. Roof sheathing mostly done with 12 inch open along center ridge lines for cap. No finish to truss ends yet, So I consider the building a clean canvas regarding air circulation construction.

Ridge vent for at least 2/3 of the length and you should be fine.
You did go with a white roof didn't you?
