How to cut service line - tool question

Apologies if this was discussed somewhere and my searches didn't find it:

I am installing a sub panel to my garage, and I am planning on running 2-2-2-4 stranded aluminum service line.

Simple question is, what tool do I need to cut this after I run it? Do I need the two handed cutters? Or will 10" cable cutters work for this?

Other questions since I have you all here is, what size drill bit/hole should I drill through the brick into my basement for this line? Is there a better tool than a masonry bit for this?

I have used a hacksaw to cut larger wire like this although it can be slow. They make cable cutters to make this a lot easier, but it isn’t worth it for one project.

Aluminum stranded. If I’m stuck in Mexico on a job and looking for a tool for this job. Go lopper’s for tree branches. Decent ones will slice right through and are cheaper. Big plus, easier to find!

#2 isn't very big. I use these to cut and strip the smaller wire like that. A lot of guys use linemans pliers to cut and a knife to strip it. If you are going to run it through a wall, it needs to be in conduit, probably PVC and a minimum if 1-1/4". Use a bit that the conduit will fit through.

Need to backup here. you need 4-wire feeder for a subpanel. hopefully you didnt buy the wire already.

Fair enough. Wasnt sure, haven't used anything larger than #4 before. Just figured I would double check
