How to determine slab thickness?

Is there a way or do i have to drill it? I have a 4 post hoist and i don't really care for it, I'm seeing a 2 post for sale but dunno if my slab is thick enough? My guess is 2 post needs a thicker slab.

There are devices to measure without drilling but I'll bet they are pricey.

You might see if any contractors use the tool and will measure your slab thickness for a reasonable fee. Otherwise, as Ricky Joe said, it comes down to drilling.
