How does one insert thumbnail images that link to high res here on GJ?

hit "new thread" or "go advanced" to reply and then hit "manage attachments" and upload them from your computer.

When I "Manage Attachments" and "Upload Images" they are added to my posts as attachments at the bottom of the post. Not in-line as thumbnails.

BJ42LX - you are halfway there. Once uploaded while creating your reply, place your curser where you want the thumbnail to be in the middle of the text. Then go up the Manage Attachments again and you should see the individual photos listed there now. Just select one of them to insert it where the curser was.

Any that aren't placed in the text will get lumped together at the bottom with the box around them. This is always a good check for me to be certain I have inserted them all. If for some reason you want to insert the same thumbnail multiple times, it will let you do that as well.
