I have been looking at the lighting portion of the site for awhile now. Lots of great advice on here.

I was wondering if anyone could please suggest some possible lighting set-ups using my current means?

right now I have a 3 car garage. I will be using the 3rd stall for a small shop (hobby stuff not a business). I have two ceiling mounted outlets that feed the main two car door and the 3rd stall door. Each using one of the two outlet receptacles. I also have two standard lamps with single bulbs that run through a switch on the wall.

I would like to prevent doing any rewiring at this time. So far my only thought was to just plug shop lights into the two open receptacles shared with the openers and get new bulbs for the two current lamps. I have to believe there are more creative options.

Thanks for any help

John

Put plug adapters in the sockets and hang more fixtures. For the duplex outlets, you will have to buy or make pull chain fixtures as the outlets are presumably non switched.

Thank you. I like this idea because I could go back to my current set up any time( like to move the lights to another shop)
