I just put a flat screen in my office. I don't want to run the cable through the wall. What can I use to cover it up?

Wiremold and Panduit are the big names in that business, so their names get used generically to describe any surface mount cabling products. Kind of like Kleenex or Xerox. :)

We have always called it panduit, and you should be able to get it at most any place that sells comm cabling
Here's an example

I don't know how far your cable run is, but at $2.66 - $4.16 per ft. this stuff is awful pricey for something that is just hot plastic squirted out of a tube like toothpaste and cut to length. They're prolly using recycled plastic to boot. I don't have anything against recycling but if that's the case, then the price is truly way high. Just my .02

What if you just got a piece of bumpy moulding from Home Depot and used a router to run a notch down the back. You could then paint it the wall color.

I have cut the notch into the drywall, glued the cable in, then mudded over the slot.
If you don't know how to do drywall mud, (I don't.) hire a guy.
You are talking a 6 pack job.

You can always run it thru a piece of electrical conduit to a box and put a faceplate on that has the cable jack.

If it's a drywall/stud wall why don't you just fish the wall? You will end up with a cleaner job. If there is power involved you will need to cut in an old-work box for the receptacle and a data mounting plate (Caddy P/N MP1P) or equivalent and drill from the attic or the crawl space with the feed depending on your situation. It will require a little more work but it will be worth it. Bill

Well, it's on a center wall, between a closet and entry door. I don't want to fish, mostly because I have RCA cables run for a dvd player (on top of my shipping station- a craftsman project station tool box-directly under the TV). This is probably just a temporary office, so I'm looking for a short term solution.

I considered buying a wood molding and routing a slot. I like that idea a lot, but for now, I purchased some wiremold brand covering at home depot. It'll get me by, plus I got some for our other flatscreen and our corded phone in the kitchen while I was there. I looked for this stuff at Lowes (which I perfer over HD) before I posted, but didn't see any. Thanks for the help though.

LOL, I can readily identify with a man that uses the "** number of 6 packs" job rating scale!!

I say that fishing it's the way to go. It's the least impact, slap a blank plate on the MP1 mentioned earlier, and walk away.

Surface mount molding is cool and all, but if not installed well, it's an eyesore, and there's the whole expense bit.

A few minutes in the attic, or an expensive PITA, you choose...
