just wondering how to post a big pic here without using site like photobucket. I don't want you guys to have to click on a small pic just so you can view it

You can host your own photos on the GJ in your own albums.

Click User CP (near the top of the page, just under the banner). Look for Pictures & Albums on the left hand side.

thanks for the info. so I went to user cp and figured out how to upload a pic in my album. now how would I add that pic to a post. sorry if I sound stupid, but I am not that computer savvy

When you make a post and want to add the image look for the little image like a mountain click on that. That allows you to cut and paste the URL to it.
Like this I found in your album.

click on the little paperclip looking Icon, (attachments)
A window pops up, click on browse, go to the picture in your picture folder you want to post, double click on it.
Then click "Upload"
Then below, you will see,
"current attachment(s)"
Right click on that, and select, "copy link location"
Then click on the Icon that looks like a landscape, (insert Image)
and Clear the http;, and hit control, "V" (or right click from within the address box,and select "paste".
Then hit OK.
That should do it.
You are hosting it here, there will still be a thumbnail, but the image will be here too.
