How to interface ACWU cable to conduit

Can anyone tell me the proper way to interface ACWU or Teck 90 to conduit? I had one electrician tell me he just orders an oversize LB and buries a straight piece 2' down with the cable slipped up through it, while another said you have to get a Teck connector, but I don't see any that have an interface that would glue into the end of conduit. I see the local utility just slipping the cable through conduit and then capping the exposed end at the top with a Teck connecter somehow interfaced to a service entrance head, which looks terrible. I can't actually find anything about it in the local code book.

Would a liquid tight connector work with the Teck cable? You could use a glue on treaded fitting on the conduit and screw in the liquid tight fitting.

That looks like the way to go, I'll have to see if I can find one locally, thanks.

I have "sleeved" ACWU with a PVC LB and piece of PVC conduit countless times for mechanical protection coming out of grade and entering a building,as your one electrician suggested.Where it enters your panel, meter base or other enclosure you may need the appropriate connector for a dry or wet location.

Do you just trim back the armour and make the 90 degree bent with just the PVC jacket in tact?

Well I can now confirm you can't bend 4/3 ACWU 90 degrees in anything less than a 1 foot radius :) I could just barely get it done with a 3" LB but I'd never get it to make the bend into the panel. I guess I'll have to go weather tight connector into a junction box and strip back the armor, and just slide a length of 2" over it for protection where it is above ground.
