Zip tie some ping pong table nets together then use mini-bungee cords at the ends. The bungee cords will help with tensioning and allow you to drive over the net without harm.

My attached garage door faces west and it's a loosing battle.
The netting is a good idea when opening and closing the door to park a vehicle but I would find it to be a trip hazzard in any other situation.
In the big garage I use a couple pieces of brown backer board ripped to 12" and slip it between the door track and 2x. Less than $10 to do both doors and it's light.

Thanks for all of the responses! I am still battling the fall leaves, but I have come to embrace the fact that we live in a thick woods. We love the trees and they were here before us. I use the leaf blower before opening the doors if I plan to keep them open for a while. My detached “Hawg House” has bigger doors with even more leaves. Oh well, I just thank God for the pleasure of living in the boonies!

Well this has got to be a record for GJ. The OP comes back to the thread 10 YEARS later and says thank you.

Rick, sorry you're still having the leaf problem, but glad you're still here after all this time.

Really ...!!!

The OP's issue is why I always do the garage slab about 1.5" above the apron -- with the apron coming into the garage just enough for the door to come down on the apron.

The 1.5" does not stop everything -- but it keeps a lot of junk out. Also, having the door onto the apron stopes any wind driven rain from getting in as it hits the face of the slab. In winter the door protects the heated slab
