How to open threads to oldest unread post

In other forums I am a part of I have found options that I select so that when I open a thread that has been posted in since I read it last it opens to the oldest unread post. I can find that option in this forum, and find it annoying to open threads and scroll back to find the latest post I recognize. Is there an option for this that I havent found? I often use the tapatalk app as well, if that makes any difference.

Right, thanks guys. I see there is an option to "open to first unread" if I click the 3 dots on the right side of the thread title in the tapatalk app as well. I just find it odd that other forums automatically open there even on the tapatalk app, but this will work fine for me.

Thanks all.

Just click the down arrow next to "View First Unread" top left.
Hadn't paid attention to this option before this thread. Thank you. It is quite useful.

Been clicking "View First Unread" instead of the down arrow, though in testing they seem to work the same.

WARNING: If, for example, you click "Last Page" to go directly to the last page of a thread; then click "View First Unread", you will be directed to the first unread only on that last page. If that truly is your first unread: fine and dandy. However, if your actual first unread is on a prior page, you will have been misdirected.

So for using "View First Unread", open the thread with any page other than Last.
