Our garage has a poured concrete wall at the opposite end of the garage doors. One side is attached to the house and is stud and drywall, the ceiling is drywalled and 1/2 of the other wall is drywalled and the lower part is poured concrete. I'd like to hang cabinets on the tall wall that's just poured concrete. Can I just stud this wall out with pressure treated lumber and drywall it? Do I need a vapor barrier or anything? That wall is mainly underground as the house is built into the hill. I know I'll be losing about 4" of depth but I think it will be worth it to be able to mount things to the wall.
