How to protect lp prostruct flooring?

I recently had an 8x10 shed built with lp prostruct flooring.

I'm using the shed to store lawn equipment and anything else that may track in dirt or oil.

Is there a particular way to protect this type of floor or make it easier to clean?

Perhaps Vinyl mats or a polyurethane coating would suffice?

From the LP installation instructions:

LP ProStruct Flooring with SmartFinish has been aesthetically
designed as a finished shed flooring product. It is not intended
to receive a floor covering, paint or coating.

I wonder if "not intended" means "unnecessary" or "don't do it"? Guessing the former, but it may mean that it has some coating already that might make paint not stick as well?
