I'm trying to install a 12vdc fuel pump relay. I couldn't find a kit in town so I have to cobb one together. I'm copying this diagram. I need a power, ground and switch.

The relay is VF4-45F11

The socket I found has the following wires already attached. I can re-wire with the correct colors. Thanks

I have a red wire from the socket going to terminal 30 & 85
A white wire from terminal 87a
A orange wire from terminal 86
A resistor going from 85 to 86

85 and 86 are the coil. one gets 12vdc and the other gets ground. 30 is contact common (not common in the context of ground) 87A is the NC contact, 87 is the NO contact.

from the summit wiring diagram, Red goes to 30. Small yellow / white goes to 85 or 86. Ground (black) goes to the other of 85 or 86. Large yellow / white goes to 87
