How to remove drawer trim on Craftsman boxes?

I'm waiting on some drawer trim to be shipped but while I'm waiting I stopped in to Sears to inspect the trim (my box is at work) and I couldn't really see how to get existing trim off. Now on the little 3 drawer tool box I have in the basement, with a little force, I was able to just slide the trim off but the trim on the rolling boxes and chests seems to be different. If there a trick to this?

It's this trim here. I want to replace it with the smaller style trim so it matches my other drawers.

take a flat screwdriver and with a hammer Gently tap it, it will start to slide off, about half way off you can grab it and pull it off. I removed all mine to paint my drawers black.

some of the older ones can be hard to take off because of dirt and grime over the years and the new ones are hard to remove because the tolerances between the trim and the drawer are ****.

Thanks, I'll try tapping if off with a screwdriver.

How to did order new trim that was thin? From who? Part number? I have an older box that needs a couple of pieces replaced.

I ordered from Sears Parts Direct. This is the trim I got:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part-number/m12842/0009/706.html

What I had to do was go on Sears.com and find the box with the trim
I wanted. There should be a link on each page that opens up the parts breakdown and part number list for whatever item you're viewing so I just copied that number and pasted in the Sears Parts Direct search.

I usually use a block of wood and a hammer. Those years they only crimped those on the ends so once get one end off its easy. The older ones they crimped them 3 to 5 times along the whole drawer.

It's not to be used as a chisel or punch you rebel

LOL..Then I won't tell you how many times I have used a screw driver as a pry bar either.
