I have removed Craftman and Waterloo drawers easily, but this Huot is perplexing me. Any advice to pull the drawers and save this box?

Do the slides have a window where you can depress the tab?

If not, search this site for snap on drawer removal tool. You'll need a thin piece of metal that can be fitted in the slide.

I just took all the drawers out of my huot box. I used a pick to depress the tangs. I stood back with a magnetic light bar so I could actually see the tang. There's two different ones, there's one for the guid to the box and the guide to the drawer. I depressed the one so that I could take the drawer out with the slides attached. With a flashlight you should be able to see it.

I just bought a Huot rolling box. Has the keys and everythign works. It was also full of tools! Can't believe the stuff I'm pulling out of there. Thanks for the drawer advice. Hadn't tried yet, but right away noticed they weren't gonna be as easy as Craftsman.

Thanks for the help re: drawer removal. Here's a photo of the tab that stops the track. Tab is in left center of photo, slightly high, at the left end of the dark streak where the track rides in the bracket (the parallel, horizontal ridges.) The round button is not the tab. Tab is above it and further left.

I was able to see the tab (one on each side of drawer) easily with a flashlight and bend it outward slightly with a screwdriver. The drawer slid out easily. With the drawer removed, I pried open both tabs a little way - at most 1/16 in. or so. The drawer went back easily and stopped normally after.
