how to remove quikrete cure and seal?

i poured a new garage apron and i want to put down a good solvent based sealer, to prevent ice flaking.
when i poured the concrete, i sprayed quikrete cure and seal from home depot.

water does soak in and change the color of the concrete now. i just want a good soaking in of the solvent based sealer. how should i remove the acrylic sealer?

Its generally a good sign but not always 100%

Certain silicates and other products used can mess with adhesion of almost anything. Even if they are not functioning as they should or even if they were not designed as a repellant.

Performing an adhesion test is a good idea with epoxy and other coatings.

Here it depends on what is eventually going down. The OP says "solvent based sealer" Obviously there is less concern over adhesion with a penetrating sealer

This is the only solvent-based sealer I've ever trusted on concrete that was previously sealed with water-based curing sealer. We've been using it for at least 6-7 years, and we've never had an issue with compatability, and we use w-b cure/seal on almost all of our concrete flatwork. You're going to have to look for it at a ready-mix yard or professional supply house though, the big boxes aren't going to carry it:

concrete is 2 months old at least i believe.
