How to Repair Scratch in Epoxy Floor

Your plan is good, but not the product. Home Depot does not sell polyurethane for concrete coatings. They carry polyurethane for wood floors and furniture. Varathane and polyurethane by Minwax are examples. They are amber in color and not compatible with your coating.
I suggest you use the same product that was used on your floor originally or purchase some polyurethane from one of the vendors that participate on the GJ.

It will take a little practice but the stuff is cheap, durable and very effective for filling ANY scratch that doesn't go through the color. If the scratch goes through the color or any flakes added to the finish, you need to fix that first. Peruse the products on the site for further info. You can buy the stuff on Amazon, direct, or from a distributor/dealer.

They only sell urethane in a one-gallon kit ($200 from epoxyplus.com). Can you suggest a product that I can buy a small amount of? Thanks!

Call both Legacy Industrial and Garage Flooring LLC. I believe one of these GJ vendors sells it in quart kits. Give them the info on the current product you used to make sure there are no compatibility issues.

OK, i see it on the legacy Ind website (HD356VOC). Now how do I confirm compatibility? Should I check with epoxyplus?
