I've got a nice white polyurea floor, and like an idiot I didn't cover it wide enough when spray painting a toolbox black.

I can get the overspray off if I scrub hard enough with a dry towel, but it's EVERYWHERE in a big shop. Don't know how it carried so far.

But will mineral spirits eat into Polyurea coatings? What else could I try to not ruin my nice floor?

I don't know about your floor, but with the epoxy on my shop floor I have an old floor buffer with a nylon grit brush. About once or twice a year I will do an extra good job of scrubbing the floor and use a scrapper to peel off paint drips and the nylon grit brush will scrub off any over spray awith very little impact to the floor.

So I need to update this. After trying a number of chemicals, Isopropyl alcohol, cleaners, brushes, all kinds of stuff, I took a break. During that break (aka bourbon), I thought about the cleaner/degreaser I use on my car tires which is friggin amazing.

I sprayed a small test spot and wiped. It didn't come off too easily, but better than some of the other things. So I sprayed again, and let it sit for a few minutes. Wiped right off in one swipe. Grabbed some old shop towels, and a big pump sprayer and coated a section at a time. Came right off with some serious shuffling of the feet with a towel underneath.

I've still got a lot to do, basically because things are parked on top, but definitely worked AMAZING. The cleaner I use is from Chemical Guys, it's their orange degreaser. Kick *** on tire cleaning, even better on overspray spray paint.
