How to start new thread

How do you start a new thread ? I tried creating a new thread on my garage build but it wouldn't allow me. I can post on theads but can't start one.

Same issue here. Only thread I could create was an introduction thread and every other one says I have to wait on a moderator's approval then disappears.

Can you copy that message and post it here please. This may be an issue with the new Anti Spam and only Ryan (Admin) can answer.

I am having the exact same problem as Slick84pb. It pops up awaiting mod approval and then disappears . I pm a mod but haven't received a response yet.

Who did you PM (which Mod ?) and again what section of the forum are you two trying to post in ? I have sent a PM to the Admin directing him to this topic so I can help you further.

sounds like all the threads complaining about spammers has had Ryan attempt a different way to block spam posts until newer GJ members are verified as real people
Maybe he turned this switch on temporarily.

Figured it out. I had to create a thread and then go back and edit to add pics. It would not allow me to create the thread with pics.

That does not sound right to me. You should be able to start a topic and add pictures at the same time without editing.

Does not allow me. It pops up a message stating awaiting mod approval. Probably has something to do with the anti-spam.

Both have made posts now and both have photos in the topics so I am lost to know why is it so ???

I also made a text only thread and edited in pics. My garage gallery post lost a post - at least on my end - where I started it and edited pics into the first post. Not sure if anyone else can see that first post but I cannot. I'm sure its some kind of anti-spam protocol, but knowing how to not have to edit around it to post would be awesome

As I posted earlier it is most likely something to do with the new spam trial that is running. Please be patient as I have asked the Admin to look into this. I sent him a message directing him to look at this topic.
