Gents,
I wiring up my new garage. I have a 4 gang box that has 6 12/2 and a 12/3 in it, which will be getting 4 switches. That is a lot of ground conductors to tie together, and pigtails to make.

Any tips on doing this in a neat and tidy way? Wago connectors? Pics are appreciated!

I like the copper splice caps ("buchanans") Barnabas linked to, but they require a dedicated crimp tool to be easily used. That's the way to go, IMO.

If you're only doing this once and don't want to buy the crimps and tool, there are green wire nuts that have a hole in the top to allow a bare wire to protrude through and make that the pigtail to the switch, saving 4 pigtails (or 5 if a metal box).

Wago connectors are pretty awesome, I didn't have to pay for them though.

I like to use Wagos for large ground connections.

In my new house, built in 1999, the electrician just twisted all of the grounds together. I'm 99% sure that wasn't code at the time. He also soldered all the hots and neutrals, so I'm guessing it was someone really old school.

If u use greenies u will need at least 4 with pigtails in between.

Wagos are probably the best for this as u could get by with just 2 and only one pigtail. 5 EGCs on the first one with a pigtail to the second along with the 6th circuit EGC and 4 pigtails to switches.

I've taken and made a couple jumpers to connect 2 to 3 different splices buchanans for 1 splice would be really expensive. Your talking 7 wires minimum to up to 11. Better off with some blues. Greene are a waste of money too imo.

They have wire nuts with a hole in the end, so you can leave 1 of the wires long enough to connect to the outlet, and tie the rest of the wires to it.
