How to tile properly

I am about to start tiling my garage ...first timer.

I came across this video that i thought it was helpful and wanted to share it with you.

I will be using 12 x 24 beige tiles i found at a clear-out.
1/2 notch and keri system

Do i need to wet the concrete before putting down the thinset?

Any pointers?

Also worth looking at Jack Olsen's garage on here, he tiled over a very poor surface and achieved great results.
