My wife likes Snap-on
First i got a KRSC31PC in black in my living room. I use it to store booze and dinner plates etc.....

Then after a visit to Snap-on head quarters, i took some pictures that my wife saw......And got an idea......

Now i have a KRA2104PC as a livingroom table. Its topped with a 3/8 thick glass plate in black, aproxx 54" wide, and 32" deep..... Used for storing table cloths, magazines, remote controls etc

Anybody interested in seeing some pics? I can eventually post after the weekend.

"Woo" means "charm". Normally in America, we "woo" our women with chocolate, flowers, and if they're special - diamonds. I think if I tried to "woo" mine with a tool box, I'd be in serious trouble.

Well, i'm told the english language has 400 000 words. As a Norwegian i don't know them all! But shall i consider my self lucky because my wife wants more Snap-on tool boxes in the house? I would like a complete kitchen made with tool boxes, risers and so on.
In Gloss Black of course.

Welcome to the board, frimann!

I'd also like to see pic!

Yup, just give me some days. I'm going away this weekend, but will find time later and get some pics. Wouldn't it be nice to show these pics to your wifes so you can be able to get decent furniture in your houses??:bounce:

Nothing funny about being Norwegian, its just since most members here are from the States and Canada, I found it funny when you said you were from Norway, feel free to come and try to woo her. The distance made it funny not the country.

Hope you did not feel disrespected, not my intention.

Thanks for your military service and yes, I still want to see pics of your tool boxes as furniture!!!

I for one would love to do a kitchen out of tool boxes. They would be a great choice. VERY sturdy, lots of storage, very modern looking in design and they would be a real conversation piece. I have actually seen a Lista used to store food.

on one of the 'monster house' shows that redid a kitchen using toolboxes at the cabinets. actually came out looking prety good.
SO toolboxes as kitchen cabinets would actually work well if you like a kitchen with a modern look

You should take a parts cleaner housing and make a beer cooler/ice chest out of it. Perfect for the living room

I tried to talk my wife into letting me buy a new box that she could use as a dresser once but it did not go over very well.

man, that's pretty cool. Why are the coffee table drawers facing away from the couch?

I see that it looks better that way when you enter the living room, but if you're sitting at the couch, and you want something from the drawers, you have to get up and go around to the other side.

Only reason because it looks better. I only store magazines, table cloths etc in the drawers, so i dont open the drawers often.

If i want something, i yell: Hey wife, get me a beer! Hurry, hurry, hurry:lol_hitti
