The Google Translate app has a camera-based real-time translation tool. Just aim like you're shooting a close-up photo of the French instructions and the translated English text will show on your phone's display.

Makes perfect sense from the pics and the scales.

You have three ranges, 0-10, 0-15, and 0-20, on the metric side. Each range depends on how far you extend the wrench. (I suspect the bold is the suggested range)

On the range, each graduation is 1mkg, so you have a full scale of 10mkg on A range, on the C its 25mkg. Of course all this is critical to the wrench being extended to exactly the correct length, and then having the graduation scale in exactly the right place.

You just need to stop torquing when the pointer and the wrench main beam are separated by the correct number of mkg.

Now figuring out mkg is your problem. The ft lbs is easy here, as are inch lbs.

Thank you very much. Finally I understood it. Works well and It has nice range 10 to 245N-m or 10 ft.lbs / 180 ft.lbs Someone seems to have taken good care of it, but is a bit complicated to use and I will leave it on the shelf for now. For daily use I will continue to use my simple noname 28 to 210N-m

mkgr should be kilograms per metre, roughly 1 mkgr = 10Nm, or more accurately 1mkgr = 9.81Nm adjusted for earth gravity.

To add to what was said, you have 3 ranges and six plates, 3 are metric in mkgr (Nm) and the other 3 are imperial in ftlbs. For each of the 3 extension positions of the bar you put the correct plate (imperial or metric). Metric is A to C and imperial is X to Z. Not too difficult to use TBH

Facom used to be so good before the evil empire bought them, a friend of mine has a limited edition Ferrari loaded tool trolley by Facom.
