How to wire these LED T8s?

I have 2 of 10 twin tube 4 foot fixtures in my garage not working. When they were installed, the electrician installed LED tubes in them that required the ballast to be left in place.
I moved the tubes around to different fixtures and determined that the fixture is the problem, not the tubes,
I verified the wire nuts are attached inside the fixture. It appears the ballast is dead. I also verified the tombstones are shunted. With that in mind, I ordered direct wire dual end powered LED tubes.
The idea, I thought, was that the dual end powered tubes would be ok with the shunted tombstones. I received the tubes yesterday. Upon inspection, I realized they are not marked with an end for L and an end for N, as I expected they would be. “No problem”, I thought, I will use my meter set to ohm to figure out the correct way. I guess that only works if you don’t have the rectifiers to convert ac to dc for the leds. There is no continuity between any two pins in either direction.
I understand how to wire around the ballast and into the tombstones. I just don’t know which end should get L and which should get N...or which way the bulb goes in.

It should not make any difference which end the L and N are hooked to.

I'm still looking but not thinking you can use these with shunted tombstones.

The bulbs I received DO NOT WORK without a ballast. Based on the instructions presented in the product pictures on the site I rewired my fixture and removed the ballast. THE LIGHTS DO NOT LIGHT. I double-checked all my work and checked voltage at the tombstones with power on and the sockets are providing power at one end as they're supposed to.

After doing all the work I looked at the bulbs and noticed there is a label on the lights I received stating "No need to rewire the fixture, works with electronic ballasts at 600V." Therefore I conclude the bulbs I received are not designed to work without a ballast. THIS IS INCONSISTENT with the product description and, indeed, many other reviews and questions.

I bought these to update some very old fixtures with ancient magnetic ballasts - the kind that take a good 3-4 seconds to start a traditional tube. I didn't dare try them against the magnetic ballast, but either way I already have cut wires and rewired the fixtures, and rewiring the ballast back in would require jumpers and a lot of work I'm not prepared to do just to go back to what I originally had.

I'll keep them since I tested them in a shop light I have with an electronic ballast and they do work there - they do produce nice bright light, brighter than a traditional tube, but now I have two fixtures in my basement living space with no light at all until I can Prime another brand of LED tubes and hope they'll work without the ballast (and using the wiring method I used to rewire the fixture)...

Double end bypass tubes that have L/N marking on them are doing so to let you know which side the internal fuse is on. It doesn't really matter to the operation of the lamp. You dont need to spend any time trying to figure it out. Just put them in.

The by-pass wiring is very simple

When cutting all wires, cut them where they come out from the ballast .

1 Cut the black and white wires, and let them hang.
2 Cut the red wire at the ballast, and attach it to the black wire hanging .
3 Now cut the blue wires, from the ballast (two), and attach both to the white wire hanging.

Just wanted to follow up: I wired around the ballast and installed the double ended t8s today. They work perfectly. It does not appear to matter which end is connected to L and which end is connected to N.
