I just picked up this 10 piece Matco ratcheting wrench set for $75. I picked it up because of the price but I am wondering how useful they are? There isn't much info or reviews on these thar is why I am asking.

You'll never use them. Complete waste of space in your toolbox. In fact, you should just mail them to me.

Those are the only flex head ratcheting wrenches I like.

I don't like the GearWrench style with the open end on one side.

Nice tools at a good price.
I'm sure they could be just the right tool in certain cases.
Maybe you'll like the handles better than with an open end.? We all prefer different things.

Try them.
You'll either like them and grab them regularly or tuck them away for the odd need.

I don't own anything spline drive like that. Never needed any. I know they (supposedly) have many selling points over a 12 point.

When I was a kid I had a set of Craftsman Saultus wrenches to work on my dirt bike. At that time I reached for nothing else and they worked for what I needed. :)

I find specialty tools like that a need tool. If I'm on a job and need a tool or think that I wish I had such and such tool and I think this at least 2 or 3 times, then I will buy the tool if it is available.

Pretty good price...that style is more comfortable and easier to hit with a deadblow than my open end on the other end style. Enjoy them!

It seems odd that they are all the same length. I would think that the wrenches would get progressively longer as the size increased. :dunno:

I have a set. $75 is a great price. The 13 & 15mm hang on my lube cart. the 10mm is on a magnetic rail on my tool cart lid. I've had them for a long time. in fact, the rubber grip on the 15mm s starting to loosen up a bit & slide off. they're pretty handy wrenches. now, as someone pointed out, they're not extra long breaker bar type wrenches but, they're long enough to do probably 85% of most automotive tasks. they're comfortable to use too. Congratulations on a great buy!!
