Making steel rolling lumber rack. It’s 3x4’. So far used 1/4 inch 2x2 for rectangle base. Hoping I can stand several 4x8 3/4 plywood upright without it tipping over. Already welded on casters as well.
The problem now is what is the best way to hold a six foot 1.5” 1/8 tube at a ten degree angle so I can weld it at base?
Thought of making a wood or steel obtuse triangle template that I could clamp the tube to. Or stand it on end and use angle finder and weld away. It’s heavy but think I can keep it vertical with some wood squares and clamps.

Not sure if there is a better way. No plans as I just build as I go. Both uprights will be connected at top and supported with other 3/4 steel tubing that will hold more wood

Figured it out. Going to weld them and cross piece together and suspend from roof truss. Should be able to move base to get correct degree pitch

Cut a sheet of plywood to match your angle and use that as your template. Lay mitered plywood piece on table, set uprights against plywood, then tack temporary steel horizontally to hold the pair at desired angle. Set pieces on base and clamp wood or steel to hold in position.

This is how I did it. Welded top piece square and cut tube at about seven degree bevel at bottom. Used a chain hoist to hold it and allow me to place bottom as well as lower enough to get correct pitch.
Was leaning towards cut out templates but didn’t like idea of trying to hold this weight over my head
