How would you heat an open Gazebo?

I have a pretty nice 12x12 Gazebo that I had built with a vented roof (so grills/bbq smoke doesn't build up). I've been spending a bunch of time in it and am currently using either one of those propane eyeball heaters and sometimes a solo mesa xl pellet stove thing.

Looking for something better. I have 120v but no way to run nat gas. I'm envisioning ... I don't know maybe some kind of 120v pellet heater designed to be outdoors? I really like the mesa xl setup but it's too small, and the larger smokeless pits consume a LOT of pellets with most of the heat going to waste.

Any ideas? This is for 2-3 hours every day or other day. So not a constant thing. It's just for me or maybe me and another person, so I need "direct" heat not really radiant 360 degree heat.

Is a constant roar tolerable as long as it’s cheap?

If so, go with a propane salamander. you can have 50,000 or even 100,000 BTU hot air shooting out in your direction.
I used one to heat a leaky old unheated building in 32 degree weather when I was tiling a kitchen counter.
I left 2 doors partially open for ventilation.
Worked great! With a gazebo, you certainly won’t have to worry about carbon monoxide 😎

I would prefer to not be any louder than the dual eyeball top of a tank propane heater - which has a decent roar. I know there's really not a perfect solution but it seems like soooooo much wasted heat when it "blasts" out. I guess I'm looking for a more gentler style outdoor heater. Back in the 90's we had these wall mounted gas heaters, something like that would be better I think. I'm sitting 2-3' away max so I think a salamander is going in the wrong direction..

Can you run conduit out to your gazebo and have some 240V power to run a high mounted radiant heater like you see in restaurants with outdoor patio dining? Might be code compliant if your gazebo is all metal.

At this point, not really. It would require re-trenching 30', with a 50-60' run. Not really willing to take that on just yet.

I'm half considering an old school cast iron wood stove/heater. I can run the flue up around the side of the gazebo. Would be a little redneck, but I also wouldn't mind tending to a fire while I'm relaxing.

I'm kind of surprised no one has made an outdoor pellet heater..

I have seen some fire pits that are approved for use on a wood deck and utilize propane to heat the ceramic logs. You could also make a cement floor in the middle of the gazebo and use a 55-gallon barrel filled with scrap wood to make your fire. Just keep the flames away from the roof.

We have something similar and it works great to heat the area around it. Perfect for what you want to do.
I just bought a gazebo kit and haven’t started the build. Mine has an aluminum roof.
Question:
How close to the roof can you run one of those tall domed propane patio heaters ??
Here is what mine is supposed to look like.
