I’ve got a bunch of ring lock scaffolding. And four nice 20 foot trusses. I’d like to attach them to the side of my shop. The other ends will rest on a scaffolding tower 20 feet out. Attached with the original hardware as it was intended.

All of this will be a covered work area.

How would you attach the scaffolding to the concrete wall? The wall is adequate for the weight. 10 inches thick. 6000psi.

I could do some kind of galvanized u-bolts epoxied into the concrete. That seems like it would be adequate. Or I could drill half inch holes in the support pole, and bolt into the concrete. In addition to either of the above methods, I could bolt an angle iron base and have it support there as well.

Open to any ideas. Thanks

Permanent or temporary? What kind of loads are you planning to put on that scaffolding? Are you trying to use the scaffold parts as some sort of beam in a permanent covering structure?

Sorry. I could’ve been more clear.

I’m going to use these trusses and ring lock scaffold towers to make a permanent carport sort of structure. The structure will be 20’x20’.

One side of the structure will be held up by this concrete wall. There will be a ring lock scaffold tower of 2’ x 2’ in each of the outlying corners. The outlying towers will be tied to the cast corners of a 20’ conex for added stability. The conex and towers will be held down by 15” artowhead anchors driven to 5’.

The loads on top of the trusses will be galvalume roofing panels and maybe some solar panels. Some treated 2x4 or 2x6 lumber as purlins.
