I have 1 breaker that controls all the exterior lighting near the shop. Right now it feeds a single outdoor outlet. Only thing on it is a tranformer for low voltage lighting around wifes flower beds and the walkway. I want to tap into the same circuit for 3 additional lights. The biggest draw will be a dual flood light mounted outside on near the peak of the roof, the others will be 2, dual bulb lights on the front of the shop. They are rated at 60w each bulb max.
I want the flood lights to be switched, the outlet to be constant, and the front lights to be dusk to dawn or on a timer.
The first ones are easy ( I hope) feed the outlet and floods straight from the breaker, put a switch on the floods. It's the front lights that have me wondering. Should I use those screw in D to D things I see at Lowes? Is there a single sensor that can be hard wired? The only timers I can find are for indoor lamps and such. Should I wire in an outlet inside and use one of those? Or is there a hardwired timer? Any links with part number and were I can purchase them would be very helpfull. Keith
