And much of the process other than the robotics is the same as it was at New Britain 45 years ago. Proven, reliable process. Even the "walking beam" plating line was the same as the Udylite line we had. Of course the Snap On plant is brighter, cleaner and has modern robotic handling and much better quality control.

Seen that video several times, always cool to see how they're made. There's other videos on the production of ratchets and sockets that are really sweet too.

Wright Tool has a video somewhere of them forging wrenches. I like this one too.
There's a Wright tool plant right down the road from me.
